At Communica Institute, each class consists of a mix of students with different nationalities, ages and purposes. The classes (called "steps") are determined according to the level of Japanese, and each step lasts for 3 months with an exam at the end. At the intermediate level and above, elective subjects are available according to learning objectives. For example, courses include "Business Japanese" for those who aspire to seek employment, and "University and College Preparation" and "JLPT Preparation" for those who aim for higher education in Japan, to name just a few. Our curriculum is so flexible that students are able to select classes from different levels in different subjects. That means if you are good at speaking but not good at reading, you could select an upper conversation class, and a lower reading class.
